Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $121,291.00. Base salary ranges from $68,929.00 to $109,427.00, plus leave loading and employer’s contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

The successful applicant will be responsible for a teaching a caseload of students from diagnosis to Year 12 across various schools located in the Bondi, Iron Cove, Marrickville, and Port Jackson Networks. The position will be part of the Itinerant Services – Hearing team based at Daceyville PS, where team meetings and professional learning take place regularly. Ability and willingness to travel between worksites is a requirement of this position.
- Approval to teach hearing impairment from diagnosis to Year 12.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate quality, inclusive learning plans to meet the complex needs of students who are deaf and hard of hearing from age of diagnosis to Year 12 across educational settings.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff, families and other stakeholders.
- Capacity to implement inclusive teaching practices that recognise the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of all students.
