Membership to National Association of Australian Teachers of the Deaf
The Members of the National Association Australian Teachers of the Deaf (NAATD) shall be the State Branches of the Association of which there may be one in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.
There are a range of categories of membership to the National Association of Australian Teachers of the Deaf.

This category is open to holders of awards in the education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students approved by the Committee. You must provide a university transcript documenting your studies in an approved university program.
Full Membership - CPE Current Membership
This category is open to full members who meet an additional mandatory CPE requirement of a minimum of 15 hours approved CPE every two years. This CPE may include professional reading, participation in online lectures, courses and workshops, and engagement in accredited CPE events. These activities must be directly related to the education of children and students who are deaf.

This category is open to any personnel working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and students. This may include speech pathologists, occupational therapists and audiologists.
This category is open to students undertaking study in the field of education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and students.
This category is open to former members.
Life Membership may be offered to any member who, in the opinion of the Committee has made an outstanding contribution to the education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
