The National Association of Australian Teachers of the Deaf (NAATD) would like to acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and their ancestors, custodians of this land known as Australia. Today teachers of deaf students gather here to live and learn. We acknowledge parents, families and community as the first educators of their children. We pay our respects to elders, past present and emerging.
